According to the Polish government’s decision to extend the suspension of airline connections until May 9, 2020, and in the face of the closure of the external borders of the European Union until May 15, all LOT passenger flights scheduled up until May 15, 2020, have been cancelled.
The decision of the Management Board of PLL LOT is consistent with the policy of other air carriers operating on European markets and dictated primarily by EU regulations recommending the extension of the closing of external European Union borders until May 15th of this year. At the same time, we are closely observing the changing local and international regulations. Decisions on the resumption of flights will depend on the opening of the borders and launching of commercial flights within the European Union and individual countries. In this difficult situation, we put the safety and comfort of our passengers first, which is why we have modified our ticket change policy.
LOT has prepared a number of accommodations for its passengers, such as using among others, the ticket value in the form of a voucher, the option of planning a trip at a different time, or the option of changing the travel route. Details are available at lot.com, where an online registration form is also available. Changes to the booking can also be made through the LOT Contact Center and the agent from whom the ticket was purchased.
