LOT Polish Airlines welcomed more than 10,027,734 travelers on board last year. This is more than 26 percent more than in 2022 and only 3.8 percent less than in the record-breaking pre-pandemic 2019. This is the second best freight performance in the history of the national carrier, which has returned to the path of stable growth. In 2023 LOT Polish Airlines carried more than 94,000 flight operations.
Between July and September, LOT carried more than one million passengers each month. During those top three months, nearly 3.1 million passengers used its services. Last year it also boasted good punctuality, which gave it fourth place in Europe. In doing so, it recorded an average on-time arrival rate of 82.83 percent.
It is worth recalling that according to the strategy announced in October 2023, the number of passengers served by LOT is expected to increase to 16.9 million by 2028.
