In total, since March 15, during the first week of Operation #LOTdoDomu, more than 25,000 Polish nationals have returned to Poland. The largest number of them have come back from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, the United States and Spain. Today, LOT special flights are bringing back Poles and eligible foreigners from Podgorica, Zagreb, Oslo, Bergen and Skopje, among others. Further destinations are available at: www.lot.com/pl/pl/lot-do-domu.

During the first week of Operation #LOTdoDomu, 25,764 Polish nationals have come back home. So far, 185 flights have been operated with a total of 43 machines: Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 737-800, Embraer, and Bombardier Q400. Due to the highest demand, the largest number of flights were carried out from the UK, Ireland, Norway, USA and Spain.

It is the eighth day of Operation #LOTdoDomu today and LOT is flying to Podgorica, Zagreb, Oslo, Bergen, Skopje, Amsterdam, and Madrid, among others.

In the upcoming days, LOT is going to repatriate Polish nationals from Dubai, Chicago, Bangkok, Trondheim, Nice, Stockholm, Helsinki, Dublin, and Budapest (March 23), followed by Cancun, Varadero, Rio de Janeiro, Larnaca, and Cape Town (March 24), as well as Zanzibar and Denpasar (March 25). LOT also offers an opportunity to return from completely new, distant locations such as Male in the Maldives, the Philippines (Cebu and Manila) and Singapore are in preparation.

Under Operation #LOTdoDomu, special charter flights are being planned for a few days ahead, based on registered requests from Polish nationals who – due to the distance – are able to come back to the country only by air. The current lists of destinations, where flights are planned as a part of #LOTdoDomu, are available at: https://www.lot.com/pl/pl/lot-do-domu.

All Polish nationals who wish to return to the country can register their request for flight at the following websites: LOTdoDomu.com and LOTdoDomu.pl.

In order to provide our passengers with the highest level of convenience and safety, two further carriers Polonus and PKP Intercity have joined Operation #LOTdoDomu. Additional domestic connections have been launched – passengers will be able to travel home from the Warsaw Chopin Airport by bus or rail at no extra cost. Current information on schedules is available at: https://www.lot.com/pl/pl/transport-krajowy and at the Warsaw Chopin Airport website.

Epidemiological safety is a priority. All travelers returning to Poland under the #LOTdoDomu operation have their body temperature checked and are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine
