LOT Polish Airlines to re-establish French Lyon into the regular flight network. The connection will be launched on September 30 and operated six days a week. Since the launch of the flights, LOT Polish Airlines will be the only carrier to offer passengers a direct connection from Warsaw Chopin Airport to the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

LOT Polish Airlines to announce return of Warsaw-Lyon route. The national carrier’s new route will take off as early as September 30 and be operated six times a week – from Monday to Friday and on Sundays, both in the summer and winter seasons. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays the flight LO345 will take off from Warsaw 8:10 a.m., and the return flight LO346 will depart Lyon at 11:20 a.m. Then, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the flight LO347 will leave Warsaw at 4:00 pm, and flight LO348 from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport will take off at 7:10 pm. Passengers will be travelling aboard Embraer 195 aircraft, and the flight on this route will take approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. Lyon is yet another destination in the national carrier’s route network envisaged in the 2024-2028 strategy.

The relaunch of the Warsaw-Lyon route is a response to growing demand for direct connections between Poland and the Central and Eastern France. Lyon, which is the country’s thriving economic hub, is undoubtedly an attractive destination for expanding business. Due to its unique history, remarkable cultural monuments and cinematic heritage, the city has much to offer to visiting tourists. Lyon – the city of cinema inventors and the world’s capital of cuisine
