LOT Polish Airlines plans to expand the Business Lounge Polonez, located in the Schengen zone at the Warsaw Chopin Airport. Renovation works will begin in July, and the official opening is scheduled for December this year. In the renovated version of the Business Lounge Polonez, guests will gain more space and a place to relax before their trip, and the interiors will be in line with the LOT brand identity, emphasizing Polish hospitality. This is another investment by the national carrier, following the construction of a business lounge at the Chicago O’Hare airport announced last year and the modernization of Boeing 787 Dreamliner cabins, which aims to improve the standard and comfort of services provided to passengers.

A new standard of comfort with LOT Polish Airlines

In just a few months, the Business Lounge Polonez will increase its space by an additional 153 sqm, thus occupying a total of more than 860 sqm. The new space will also add another seats. In the expanded section, passengers will have a view of the bustling terminal on the level below. In addition, the renovation will gain a modern design that combines elegance with functionality. The space has been designed with the convenience and comfort of guests in mind, offering modern furniture, including comfortable seats and sofas so passengers can fully relax before their trip.

“We constantly strive to make the experience of LOT Polish Airlines passengers exceptional at every stage of the journey, which is why we are pleased to announce the reconstruction of our LOT Business Lounge Polonez. From satisfaction surveys, we know that passengers rate the lounge very well, especially valuing our food and beverage offer. However, we realize that in the so-called “outbound waves” the lounge is visited by many travelers, therefore, as part of the modernization, we will introduce more space and modern amenities. I believe that the changes will provide even greater comfort, as well as the ability to work and relax freely. LOT Business Lounge Polonez is the largest lounge at the Chopin Airport, which is LOT’s hub. We want all our customers to experience LOT’s famous hospitality right here, even before boarding. We can’t wait to invite them to a completely changed interior,” says Izabela Leszczyńska, Director of Product Development and Customer Experience Department at LOT Polish Airlines.

The renovation will be carried out in stages, which will allow for access to the selected consumer area.
Business Lounge Polonez will be open 7 days a week from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. The official opening after the renovation is scheduled for December this 2024.
