Warsaw hosted the eighth edition of the Aviation Market Congress – the single most important event in the aviation industry in Poland. The event was attended by approximately 450 participants, including representatives of state authorities, carriers, airports, cargo companies, tour operators, and the world of science and technology. One of the Congress’s highlights was the Opening Debate, devoted to the introduction of Airbus A220 aircraft to LOT Polish Airlines and the role of this investment in the development of the carrier and the Polish economy. The panel was attended by Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines, who emphasised the importance of the purchase for rejuvenating the fleet and the impact of the investment on curbing the CO2 emissions. Representatives of Airbus and Pratt & Whitney noted their increased presence in Poland and plans to create new workplaces.

The APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association) ranking is considered one of the world’s leading airline rating systems. It is based exclusively on passengers’ verified reviews, who rate, among other things, travel comfort, service quality and the overall flight experience.
LOT Polish Airlines introduces yet another, new in-flight offering – a new dining service called “Michelin-starred flavours in LOT Business Class”. The option to choose a main course from the Business Class Fine Dining Menu is available to LOT Business Class passengers travelling on long-haul flights departing from Warsaw Chopin Airport.
LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of a new year-round connection to Stavanger. The first flight on the Warsaw-Stavanger route is scheduled for 24 November 2025. LOT Polish Airlines will operate the WAW-SVG route four times a week.
LOT Polish Airlines has presented visualisations of the interiors of Airbus A220 aircraft to be successively added to LOT’s fleet starting in 2027. The new aircraft will have a significant impact on travel comfort, combining ergonomic interiors, modern technologies and advanced on-board amenities. The cabin of the new Airbus A220s will be equipped with RECARO seats manufactured at the Polish factory in Świebodzin.
