In July, we celebrated a special anniversary – 10 years of LOT Flight Academy. We spent that decade working together to educate and expand the skills of the next generation of pilots.
The celebrations took place during the Fly Fest 2025 air show held at our home airport in Piotrków Trybunalski. Over the period of two days, our special birthday zone hosted hundreds of visitors: current and future pilots, aviation enthusiasts, industry representatives and friends of LFA.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those who have been a part of this journey for the past 10 years. It is thanks to you that LOT Flight Academy has become a brand that is widely recognised in the flight training market.
All this gives us a great filling of pride while looking back, and provides us with energy while looking ahead!
Unfortunately, July also brought sad news. It is with deep regret that we inform you that Bogusław Możejko – Safety Manager of LOT Flight Academy, a long-time pilot, instructor and Captain of LOT Polish Airlines, passed away on 15 July 2025.
Bogusław was not only an excellent specialist, but above all a person of great esteem, cordiality and devotion. Over the years, he has trained many generations of pilots, ensuring the highest safety standards and sharing his knowledge with great openness and kindness.
We bid him a solemn farewell on 18 July – filled with thoughtfulness and gratitude for all the things he contributed to our organisation and the aviation community as a whole.
We unite in grief with the family and relatives of Mr Możejko, offering them our deepest condolences.
