The fleet of aircraft operated by LOT Flight Academy expanded, in June, by a new Tecnam P2006 plane that was imported directly from Italy, where the brand’s manufacturing facility is located. This will be the 4th specimen of this model in use at the Academy.
The P2006 is a modern plane that is perfectly suited for the needs of advanced pilot training programmes. It is used primarily during MEP(L) (multi-engine) IR/ME (instrument-rated multi-engine) and CPL(A) (commercial pilot licence) courses.
With the new acquisition included, our fleet currently comprises 14 aircraft:
• 10 single-engine Tecnam P2008s
• 4 dual-engine Tecnam P2006s.
The expansion of our fleet is a reaction to the growing demand and a constantly growing number of students. The new P2006 will definitely see a lot of use in the months to come.
In the nearest future, it will also receive a unique livery celebrating the jubilee of our school. The new design has been selected in a competition held earlier this year in March. The winning design was created by LFA enthusiasts who will now be able to admire their work in the air. It will definitely turn some heads!
