Career Fair in Giebułtów
At the end of May, representatives of the LS Airport Services Kraków Handling Branch had the pleasure of participating in the 1st Educational and Employment Fair in Witosówka (Giebułtów near Kraków). The event was attended by numerous students and their parents/guardians. Teachers from primary and secondary schools from neighbouring towns and villages participated in the fair as well.
The fair offered a great opportunity to present the offering of LS Airport Services as a future employer, and served as a venue for discussing professional development options available in the aviation industry. It also allowed the sector’s representatives to exchange experiences with the youth and the teachers.

Lectures in Tarnowskie Góry
Early in June, representatives of the LSAS Katowice Handling Branch participated in the Career Days in Tarnowskie Góry. When meeting with students of the 1st Stefania Sempołowska High School, they provided insights concerning ground handling operations, the career paths, the choices to be made (including the difficult ones) and the things that keep us going on a daily basis. Our staff took advantage of the opportunity to share their passion for aviation. They attempted to show that work is not limited to commitments only, but also provides a space to grow, live one’s dreams and build something bigger.
New EV charging stations in Warsaw
“Small Steps – Great Objectives” is the slogan of the various environmental projects we have been implementing at LSAS for a number of years now. The motto is a good reflection of a philosophy that is dear to our hearts – a philosophy according to which each change is made up of a number of smaller initiatives that need to be implemented in a consistent manner in order to achieve larger, truly ambitious goals!
We have just taken another of such steps. In June, thanks to cooperation with the Chopin Airport in Warsaw, a new EV charging station was commissioned next to the General Aviation Terminal. The station may be used by the passengers of planes handled by LS Airport Services.
15 Years of the Kraków Handling Branch
In June, LS Airport Services and all of the Company’s employees from the Kraków Branch in particular, had a very good reason to feel proud due to the 15th anniversary of the LS Airport Services branch operating at the airport in the capital city of the Lesser Poland region.
The past 15 years in numbers: 125,000 departures and 14 million passengers handled!
So, the 15th anniversary of the Branch offered the management of the Company and the Branch a good opportunity to summarise the achievements and to extend thanks to all employees of the Kraków Branch of LS Airport Services, with a particular emphasis placed on those 21 staff members that have been working there from the very beginning!
100th anniversary of the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin
In mid-June, representatives of LS Airport Services participated in a truly exceptional event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin – an establishment that has forged many generations of Polish airmen. The celebrations took place, inter alia, at the monument honouring the “Heroes of the Dęblin Air Force University”. LS Airport Services was an official partner of the event.
