The newly launched slot at the KTW station is operating at full capacity. To date, we have completed a C‑check for Portugal Airlines on an Embraer 190 in Hangar No. 2, and in recent weeks we have also completed two base checks on an A320 for the Lithuanian operator Avion Express. In addition to traditional servicing processes, our team also had to tackle challenges specific to the aircraft’s age, and as always, we rose to the task successfully. Currently, maintenance operations are underway on an A320 aircraft for Avion Express in our latest slot. We are not slowing down!
Development of cooperation with technical schools. For us, the springtime brings inspiring meetings at schools. In recent weeks, we have been showcasing the opportunities and advantages of careers in aviation technology to young people, both by welcoming school representatives to our hangars and by visiting young people at their schools.
Our cooperation with educational institutions is multifaceted. Recently, the most important outcome of these activities was the signing of three letters of intent – with the T. Kościuszko Secondary School Complex No. 1 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, the Danuta Siedzikówna “Inka” Technical School Complex No. 1 in Sopot, and the Stefan Rowecki “Grot” Automotive School Complex in Gliwice. The aim of this initiative is to support pupils in acquiring expert knowledge and improving the skills necessary for positions related to the MRO industry. As a partner for secondary schools and universities, we also provide valuable work experience during practical training and internships. We truly believe that our efforts are an important step in the professional development of young people and in building a strong foundation for the future of our industry.
