LS Airport Services at a conference on the future of aviation. In early April, representatives of LS Airport Services S.A. participated in the International Scientific Conference “Air Traffic Engineering” organised by the Warsaw University of Technology. The event brought together experts from the aviation industry and the academic community, becoming a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience. During the panel discussion entitled “The future of aviation – challenges and staff development”, Ewelina Mordarska, Manager of LSAS Handling Warsaw Branch, discussed the growing challenges facing the industry. She highlighted the key role of investment in the development and training of specialists needed to handle the growing air traffic. This conference was organised by the Department of Air Transport Engineering and Teleinformatics of the Faculty of Transport at Warsaw University of Technology, together with the Student Air Transport Research Group. LS Airport Services was a partner of the event.

FlyLili becomes a new customer of LS Airport Services in Krakow. At the end of March, LS Airport Services S.A. in Krakow welcomed a new carrier to its customer base – FlyLili. LSAS provides comprehensive ground handling services for the Romanian carrier, including both passenger service and apron handling. FlyLili’s first flight on the Tel Aviv – Krakow route took place on 20 March and was operated by an Airbus A320 with 180 passengers on board. The LSAS team was delighted to welcome a new partner to Krakow Airport. Check out the photos from the inaugural flight.

The Katowice branch of LSAS at an AIRE meeting on providing services to PRM. In early April, representatives of the Handling Katowice Branch of LS Airport Services S.A. participated in a meeting entitled “Facilitating Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRMs)”, organised by the European association AIRE. The purpose of the event was to discuss the latest regulations concerning the handling of passengers with disabilities. Marlena Twardokęs and Marta Rosik from the LSAS Katowice Branch presented PRM service processes at Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport, pointing to a steady increase in the number of passengers benefiting from this form of assistance. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with other representatives of the aviation sector, highlighting the growing importance of accessibility and quality of PRM services in air transport.
