New route to Marrakesh. LOT Polish Airlines has started selling tickets for new, direct flights between Warsaw and Marrakesh. The new route launches on 29 October and will operate in the winter season twice weekly.
LOT Polish Airlines wins five Ceesar Awards 2025. LOT Polish Airlines awarded with 5 statuettes in the Ceesar Awards 2025 plebiscite. During the 20th edition of the Ceesar Awards plebiscite, the company received five awards in the following categories: Best Long-Haul Airline, Route of the Year – for the Warsaw-Riyadh route, Check-in and Boarding, Cabin Crew, and Manager of the Year – this title was awarded for the second year in a row to Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines.

IATA CEIV Live Animals certificate for LOT Polish Airlines. LOT Polish Airlines has been granted the prestigious IATA CEIV Live Animals certification, confirming the carrier’s highest standards in transporting live animals. This is the national carrier’s fourth CEIV certification, alongside the previously obtained CEIV Pharma, CEIV Fresh and CEIV Lithium Batteries.
Expansion of cooperation between LOT Polish Airlines and ITA Airways. LOT Polish Airlines has expanded its cooperation with ITA Airways, offering new connections in Italy via Rome. Under the codeshare agreement, passengers will gain access to 10 Italian cities, while ITA Airways passengers will be able to fly from Rome to Warsaw and beyond. The entire journey will be covered by a single ticket, with a standardised baggage and fare policy.
New LOT connection from Warsaw to Malta. On 6 April 2025, LOT Polish Airlines inaugurated direct flights between Warsaw and Malta. Flights to Europe’s southernmost island will be operated four times a week, all year round. This new route in the national carrier’s network is an excellent option for travellers looking for both a city break and an interesting destination for a longer stay.

Both managers play key roles in our organisation and have extensive experience in strategic areas of LOT’s operations. Maciej Dziudzik will be responsible in particular for the acquisition and management of the aircraft fleet, including the financing of new aircraft. Robert Ludera will be responsible for the profitable development of the Company.

New route from Warsaw to Reykjavik. On 12 April 2025, LOT Polish Airlines inaugurated direct flights on the route Warsaw – Reykjavik-Keflavik. Flights to Iceland will be operated four times a week during the summer season and three times a week during the winter season. The newly launched route meets the expectations of both tourists seeking unique experiences surrounded by nature and entrepreneurs interested in developing their business on both markets.
