Aleksandra Kalinowska joined the LSAS Management Board. The Company’s Board of Directors, based on the results of the recruitment process, decided to appoint Ms. Aleksandra Kalinowska as the Member of the Board for Finance and Economics at LS Airport Services S.A. Ms. Aleksandra Kalinowska took the position as of March 17, 2025.
Talks about the resumption of air traffic in Ukraine. In late February, the LS Airport Services delegation consisting of: President of the Board – Konrad Mirowski, Member of the Board for Operations – Marcin Warsicki, Handling Warsaw Branch Manager – Ewelina Mordarska and Handling Katowice Branch Manager – Marcin Libiszewski, participated in a working meeting concerning the cooperation of the Polish and Ukrainian aviation industry in rebuilding air traffic in Ukraine after the end of military operations and the opening of Ukrainian airspace and airports. The meeting took place in the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park “AEROPOLIS” in Jasionka. Apart from LS Airport Services, the meeting was also attended by other representatives of Polish aviation companies and institutions, including PANSA (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency), LOT Polish Airlines, Baltona and the Regional Airports Association.

“Baba Yaga’s Flying Broom” – Aviation Knowledge Contest. In early March, the 12th edition of the national aviation knowledge competition “Baba Yaga’s Flying Broom” took place, organised by Maria Skłodowska-Curie Technical High School No. 4 in Bytom. LS Airport Services has been actively supporting this initiative as a competition partner for several years now. This year’s edition was attended by over 70 high school students studying aviation-related fields. Participants had to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of aviation, including: the history of aviation, the basics of air navigation, the basics of aircraft construction, aviation law, and the identification of aircraft and their components in photographs. Moreover, during the event, the participants had the opportunity to visit the LS Airport Services stand, where the representatives of the Handling Katowice Branch talked about the specifics of ground handling services.
