Today, LOT special flights are bringing back Poles and eligible foreigners from destinations including Male in the Maldives, Colombo, Geneva, Madrid, Brussels, and London. Following the decision of the Polish government to extend the suspension of international air traffic, charter flights under Operation #LOTdoDomu will continue until April 11, 2020. Further destinations are already available at:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lot.com\/pl\/pl\/lot-do-domu\">www.lot.com\/pl\/pl\/lot-do-domu<\/a><strong>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first eleven days of Operation #LOTdoDomu, 36,131 persons have returned home onboard LOT Polish Airlines aircrafts. So far, 266 flights have been operated by the Polish national carrier, with a&nbsp;total of 44 machines of all types available in its&nbsp;fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today starts Day 12 of Operation #LOTdoDomu \u2013 in total, 10 flights are planned, bringing passengers from Male in the Maldives, Colombo, Geneva, Edinburgh, Madrid, Brussels, and London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the upcoming days, LOT is going to repatriate Polish nationals from destinations such as Cancun, Varadero, Helsinki, Baku, Riyadh, Alicante, and Algiers (March 27), as well as Cebu and Manila (the Philippines), Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, and Tbilisi (March 28).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the decision of the Polish government to extend the suspension of air traffic until April 11, 2020 inclusive due to the spread of the SARS-CoV\u20112 coronavirus in Poland and worldwide, the flights scheduled from March 29 to April 11, 2020 have been cancelled. Therefore, until April 11, LOT Polish Airlines will only carry out charter flights as part of the #LOTdoDomu operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this difficult situation, safety and comfort of LOT passengers comes first, that is why the carrier has modified its ticket exchange policy. All details are available at https:\/\/www.lot.com\/us\/en\/current-rebooking-and-refund-information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Operation #LOTdoDomu, special charter flights are being planned for a&nbsp;few days ahead, based on registered requests from Polish nationals who \u2013 due to the distance \u2013 are able to come back to the country only by air. The current lists of destinations, where flights are planned as a&nbsp;part of #LOTdoDomu, are available at:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lot.com\/pl\/pl\/lot-do-domu\">https:\/\/www.lot.com\/pl\/pl\/lot-do-domu<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Polish nationals who wish to return to the country can register their request for flight at the following websites: LOTdoDomu.com and LOTdoDomu.pl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to provide our passengers with the highest level of convenience and safety, two further carriers Polonus and PKP Intercity have joined Operation #LOTdoDomu. Additional domestic connections have been launched \u2013 passengers will be able to travel home from the Warsaw Chopin Airport by bus or rail at no extra cost.
