tCO\u2082e (tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent) is a unit that measures the impact of different greenhouse gases on the greenhouse effect. It takes into account gases like methane and nitrous oxide, converting their global warming impact into an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide (CO\u2082) using their Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors. 

In other words, 1 tCO\u2082e represents the emission of greenhouse gases with the same warming potential as 1 tonne of CO\u2082 over a specified time horizon (usually 100 years). <\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

CO2e emissions are calculated using the Well-to-Wheel life cycle of aviation fuel, covering the entire process from production, processing, storage, and distribution to the moment of combustion in aircraft engines.
