Polish aviation competitiveness at the New Mobility Congress
PGL on future developments at the Aviation Market Congress
Companies’ summary of the month
With great pleasure, we present to you the latest edition of our newsletter, in which we focus on key events and achievements in the aviation industry both in Poland and abroad.
In the first main topic, we take a closer look at the development plans of the Polish Aviation Group, presented during the Aviation Market Congress. This is an important contribution to the discussion on the future of the aviation sector, especially in the context of global challenges.
The second feature of this issue is a report from the New Mobility Congress, held on September 25 in Katowice. The event addressed, among other things, the competitiveness of Polish aviation and its role in a modern, sustainable transport system.
In the ‘Company News’ section: in early September LFA launched the year’s second-to-last edition of the theoretical training course for the PPL(A) licence, LS Technics launches line maintenance services for Warsaw Cargo, LSAS received the Top Handling Partner Volume Award – LOT Cargo, for the first time, Lotams attended the MRO Asia-Pacific trade fair in Singapore, LOT Polish Airlinesn awarded the prestigious APEX Four Star Global Airline certificate.
Redefining technology management, hyperautomation, and the deployment of digital twins are to shape the development of the Polish Aviation Group in the years to come.
The Polish Aviation Group’s representatives discussed their development plans and challenges, including those related to recruiting personnel for the aviation industry, during the Aviation Market Congress in Warsaw.
Modern technologies will largely determine the direction of PGL’s development. Companies are now challenged with handling increasingly more processes in a more optimal and flexible manner. Automation is therefore becoming a key tool that facilitates and accelerates rolling out changes.

Radosław Stępień,
CEO, PGL
On 24 September 2025, during the New Mobility Congress in Katowice, debates devoted to the aviation industry were held.
Speakers at the event discussed the competitiveness of Polish aviation, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and the costs associated with its production, as well as decarbonisation and the industry’s contribution to the green transition. Is zero carbon emissions possible in aviation, or should low carbon emissions be the goal instead?
