LS Net Intranet – a new communication tool at LSAS!

In mid-September, LSAS launched its employee Intranet service – LS Net. The platform is a modern tool that facilitates access to key information about company, as well as to various documents and current news.

Thanks to the implementation of LS Net, LSAS employees can easily access the most important company content from anywhere, anytime – regardless of whether they are working on the airport’s apron, in the terminal or in the office. The Intranet is fully accessible from desktop computers and mobile devices.

The launch of LS Net was accompanied by a communication campaign inspired by the tradition of announcing new airline connections – using both classic and slightly less obvious internal communication channels! In this way, we tried to emphasise that LS Net is a new connection – connecting us all in a common information space.

LSAS representation at Aviation Games 2025

Aviation is a team effort. We prove this every single day, also outside of work!

This truth turned out to be obvious on 4 October as well, during the Aviation Games – an event filled with positive energy, sportsmanship and a team building spirit. It was organised by the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency and was attended by representatives of various institutions, companies and airports – including, of course, a team of LS Airport Services employees.

Representatives of each organisation competed in 5 events: relay, beach volleyball, soccer, badminton and tennis.

We are proud of our employees who received the following awards:
Second place in volleyball - Tomasz Biernat, Grzegorz Kamiński
MVP for the relay race - Sławomir Jaskaczek

Our soccer, tennis and badminton representatives were ranked just off the podium, in fourth places in their respective competitions.

LSAS at a conference focusing on the growth of and the challenges faced by the aviation industry in the Silesian region

The beginning of the school year and the first autumn weeks see a number of meetings that focus on exchanging experiences, taking stock of what’s behind us and looking ahead – to identify the challenges that lie ahead and the trends in the broader aviation industry.

At the beginning of October, an extremely interesting conference was held, titled “The industry – yesterday, today and tomorrow | Trends, innovations and challenges in the aviation industry – operation of airports and airport terminals in the Silesian region”. During the event, Marcin Libiszewski, Director of the Katowice Branch of LS Airport Services, shared our experience in a presentation entitled “Increasingly professional character and safety of ground handling operations – LS Airport Services”

We are extremely pleased that we can actively share – as LS Airport Services – our experience and add value to various industry initiatives.

LSAS team at ICAO Council meeting

At the end of September, Poland was elected a member of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) – the most important aviation organisation in the world!

Our country was among an elite group of 36 out of 193 member states that will lead the work of this specialised UN agency for three years to come.

Poland’s appointment 🇵🇱 is a sign that the industry recognises the competence, role and work that is being done by entities that co-create the broadly defined Polish aviation industry, aiming to promote air traffic in our country and abroad.

We would like to extend our thanks for the invitation and the opportunity to support this important initiative through, among other things, the participation of representatives of the Board of Directors of LS Airport Services in the government delegation and the promotion of Poland and the Polish aviation sector as a crucial, professional element of the global aviation landscape.

Suparna Airlines Jumbo Jet serviced in Warsaw

On the last Sunday of September (28.09), we had the pleasure of handling, at Warsaw Chopin Airport, the first B747 (Jumbo Jet) sporting the Suparna Airlines livery.

More than 100 tons of cargo arrived on board the aircraft, which we efficiently processed at our Cargo Terminal in Warsaw.

In the near future, Suparna Airlines Jumbo Jets will operate regular cargo flights to Warsaw from Nanjing twice a week – on Fridays and Sundays.

Take a look at the photos offering a closer insight into the ground operations performed while handling this unique aircraft!
